Estancia 2016 Monterey Chardonnay
Estancia 2016 Monterey Chardonnay
Our Price: $9.99

Winemaker's Notes:
We’re convinced that the world’s best wines showcase the true essence of their origins. We grew the fruit for this Chardonnay in our Pinnacles Vineyard, on the east side of the Salinas Valley at the base of the Gabilan Mountains. Cooled by morning fog and far enough from the Monterey Bay to get a long, daily dose of sun, this west-facing vineyard planted at 300 feet in elevation has proven itself to be an ideal site for Burgundian varieties, including Chardonnay. Known for its checkerboard pattern of wind breaks and rare soil made up of sand and decomposed granite, Pinnacles is both our foundation vineyard and home to our state-of-the-art winery.
Geyser Peak 2013 California Sauvignon Blanc
Geyser Peak 2013 California Sauvignon Blanc
Our Price: $9.99

Winemaker's Notes:
The fresh style of Sauvignon Blanc for which Geyser Peak is famous is best enjoyed in the first 18 months after release when the fruit flavors are most abundant and the acidity bright and crisp. In this bottling, we aimed to capture the best of Sauvignon Blanc’s identity by blending grassier elements (reminiscent of the Southern Hemisphere style) with citrus and mineral notes (most typical in the French style) and passion fruit and melon flavors (typical of the California New World style). As such, our Sauvignon Blanc offers authentic varietal character that can be appreciated by both the novice and the connoisseur.

"Savory notes of chamomile and lemon verbena spark an interest on the nose. The palate offers a plethora of flavors, including ripe pineapple, a rare appearance of apricot nectar, and toasty-creamy oak on the finish. Texture plays an important role in showcasing a wine that significantly overdelivers with finesse and quality for the price."
